Exercises for the tummyYou may think that exercises for the abs and for the stomach are the same, but there similar but not the same. The abs target just that the abs, the stomach exercises will work the stomach and the sides as well. Here are some exercises that can help you with the stomach area. The first exercise is torso turns, stand up with your legs slightly apart, place your hands on your hips and begin to just twist your torso around until you can’t twist anymore. This works the sides of the stomach, so in the long run it will help shape your stomach. Do as many reps as you can without making your self sick but twisting too much. This exercise is safe and it does work. Another exercise that works the stomach muscles are regular sit up, not crunches. Crunches target the abs and sit ups will target the stomach area. Only do what you feel you are capable of. You don’t want to pull any muscles, especially if you are doing ab exercises too. A great exercise for the stomach is body bends. Stand up with to feet slightly apart. Then place your hands on your hips and bend forward. This is almost like doing a sit up standing up. Do 20 reps for the front and then follow up with the sides doing reps of 20 for each side.
By doing all these exercises and the other areas of the body that you are trying to whip back into shape, you will begin to see a huge difference in your body. Of course a proper diet is essential as well. Stick to the routines, they really can help. You need to stay strong and have fun with it. |
